DAY 01

Marrakech to Aït Benhaddou

The adventure begins in Marrakech with bike preparation and a briefing before you head south toward the High Atlas Mountains. Mountain passes and sweeping curves carry you over the range, opening to southern plains and desert scenery. The day ends at Aït Benhaddou, Morocco’s most iconic kasbah and a UNESCO World Heritage site, where ancient mud-brick walls glow in the evening light.

Aït Benhaddou to Dadès Gorges

Ride through classic southern Moroccan landscapes of desert plains, palm oases, and kasbah valleys. As the road climbs into rising rock formations, the scenery becomes increasingly dramatic. You’ll arrive at the Dadès Gorges, where winding roads cut through towering red cliffs, creating one of Morocco’s most memorable riding experiences.

DAY 03

Dadès Gorges to Merzouga (Sahara Desert)

A long and rewarding riding day that showcases Morocco’s dramatic transitions. You descend from the Middle Atlas into wide open plateaus, where the terrain becomes increasingly arid and expansive. Quiet roads, big skies, and remote towns define the journey. The day ends in Errachidia, the gateway to the Sahara and the Ziz Valley.

Errachidia to Merzouga (Sahara Desert)

The desert begins to reveal itself as the route follows the palm-lined Ziz Valley. Kasbahs and oases line the road as sand tones gradually replace green. By late afternoon, the dunes of Erg Chebbi rise from the horizon as you arrive in Merzouga. Sunset over the Sahara is a defining moment of the tour.

Merzouga to Dadès Gorges

Leaving the dunes behind, the ride cuts west across vast desert plains before climbing into rugged mountain terrain. The tour concludes with a final group dinner celebrating an unforgettable Atlas-to-Sahara journey.
